My dad and I went for a drive north of our campsite in Glendo State Park. We passed 5 cattle guards. Between the third and the fourth guards, we saw some horses. One horse was sticking its head in the back of the truck….for snacks???
A little further down the road, there seemed to be a dead end, but we looked to the right and saw a road lined with sunflowers. We turned off the sunflower road to a road called “Mud Creek”. It was NOT muddy. Along this road were some turkeys. Past the turkeys, we stopped and let Zena out to run. I raced Zena a few times and beat her once! Eventually, Zena and I got tuckered out and we all left for home.
